Warzone maps hardly count when you can't select them in custom. Not to mention that they don't even have fixed spawns in them.

I'm disappointed with the maps overall. Warzones maps are great, but there's only 3 of them and no on-map vehicles or weapons.

Arena maps are very bland and lack character and environment. 90% of them are just "industrial military metal boxy buildings" aside from the 2 covenant ones and the 1 forerunner map. Also no vehicles at all, in h5 its either 4v4 on small maps or 12v12 on fuckhuge maps if you want any vehicles.

BTB maps have been confirmed to be forge-made, not sure how I feel about that but it's not good

They still lack the detail and visuals that a dev-made map has such as unique textures, skybox, actual grass and plants instead of flat textures, advanced lighting and FX etc

Grass can't be placed. It has to exist on pre-made terrain, you can't place it and it won't show up on the terrain pieces you can spawn. The FX such as wind and fire still will be very limited, there will definitely be a clear visual quality difference between forge and non forge maps (better than past titles but still not great)
There's a lot of footage of these forge maps in the latest episode of the sprint

Reach didn't have any developer-made BTB maps. It had sectioned-off Invasion maps.

I'm fully aware, I just know we probably won't get full btb maps for awhile so im fine with forge. with enough tree's or ice or whatever you can make nice aesthetic maps. I'd like to make a winter timberland

It's the non-dev ones that were added later

As for "sectioned-off invasion maps" that's not true either. The maps are exactly the same in BTB and invasion.

Personally I like this version of BTB because I can use the vehicles I want and not have it snatched by the fuckstick that spawned by it first, then charged into the laser cannon. The problem is, I have 8 billion mongooses and no fucking warthogs.
