>>314804135I totally agree, its also incredibly boring to replay the Hospital section (easily the worst part of the game) with Venom being a floppy fish for another 45 minutes was a fucking great way to end a decent game.
Quite honestly, I'd give it an 8/10, maybe a 7.5
Major issues:
>Plot is dumb, even for a Metal Gear game>Parasite Unit and Skullface are shitty enemies, who aren't developed enough, and aren't interesting or fun to fight>Pidgeon holing Liquid, Psycho Mantis and shit like Huey, Volgin and Ocelot into the plot for virtually no reason other then fanservice.>Missed opportunities out the ass. Could've had origins for Sniper Wolf, Grey Fox, more backstory for Eli>Mother base is useless to go around and it makes you go there constantly. If there was stuff to do on Mother Base it wouldn't be so bad>Pequod being slow as fuck and literally having to wait about a minute (even after loading) at the beginning and end of every mission is fucking terrible, even going from strut to strut on Mother Base via Helicopter is slow as fuck>Game essentially ends after chapter 1 and then the rest is filler>Fultoning everything is stupid and dumb but its easily your best strategy>Almost every mission devolves into:>Sneak in, tranq people until your supressor dies, wait until pequod drops your supressor then continue tranqing people and fultoning everything that isn't tied down. IE: No mission variety.>Story is hamfisted>Vocal Chord parasites are stupid as fuck and Skullfaces plan to control nukes and use Sahelanthropus should've been enough for the plotThe gameplay is on point, but it gets boring doing the same shit for like 25+ hours.
