I felt the same way but the more I played HM2, the more I liked it. I can't even go back to HM1 anymore, it's strange.

I used to not like Hotline Miami 1 all that much, but HM2 was so bad it made me like it.

HM1's soundtrack is strange because it sounds like it was made for the game, yet it clearly wasn't. HM2's problem is that while there are good tracks, none of them seem to actually fit a video game.
