>>314813127That was probably the only moment that I actually disliked in FMA, I mean, I can feel sorry for someone like Scar, he killed a lot of people but was blinded by hate and revenge, thinking those he killed where responsible for murdering his people, yet he was eventually able to calm down and see that he was only causing more bloodshed and fixing nothing.
Mustang on the other hand, was about to kill an abomination that loved every second of his sadistic actions and was responsible for the death that caused the war that ruined Scar's life, countless of deaths, even including the death of Roy's best friend. Sure, in the end it was revealed that he was nothing but a pathetic creature, but that doesn't change the fact that he was directly responsible for all that shit and before his death he was quite happy about all the destruction he created. Roy's revenge was 100% justified, sure he was acting on hate, but he was also about to end the life of the most vile creature in the series. Hell, if Envy would had a second chance to life he would have probably tried to murder Roy, Hawkeye and the rest by surprise at the first chance possible.
