A good b movie is aware that it isn't great, and doesn't try to be something it isn't. That's why Bruce Campbell is great. He's a pretty good actor, which helps, but he's obviously enjoying himself. I get the vibe that Cage wants his writing to be taken seriously, but the soap-operatic qualities of his shit seem to say that he doesn't have to be seen as a genius writer to enjoy writing
If anything, they're giving him oversight writers and producers because they want his games to have that soulless bullshit kind of writing most modern AAA games do
