MGS1 DID have a bad camera. They literally had to make up for it with the radar.

Doesn't make it unplayable but the camera doesn't show what you'd want to see which makes it a bad camera.

First time I played the game was on hard mode without the radar

Sorry I should have used green text. My cousin who has been gaming his whole life said this a year ago his first time playing this game. There is no place in the game where you can run into a guard who is off-screen and can see you first. No radar play throughs are thing for a reason.
