How much censorship do you think will be given to Fates when it gets released?

I don't recall Awakening having any censorship, but Fates is apparently more racy and also had the equivalent of a 15+ in Japan.

My guess is that it will be uncensored in the UK (because they have a 15 rating) and cut down for a T in US.

Children in America do not know what Fire Emblem is. It isn't Call Of Duty, Halo, Minecraft, or GTA, so they don't fucking care.

For some reason, NoA seriously thinks there's a chance that a child will pass up GTA for fucking Fire Emblem, and has to censor the fuck out of it to appease the soccer moms of America who don't use the ESRB system made specifically for them.

Considering we already know they made some questionable localization changes (Kazahana -> Hana, Tsubaki -> Subaki, Harold -> Arthur), I'm not very optimistic.

EU had text changed to talk about Tharja's hair. NA kept the dialogue just changed it slightly to fit grammar rules(still talking about her sexually)

NA had art censored for 1 scene with a giant curtain covering Tharja's ass. EU didn't

Which reminds me, the DLCs were riddled with fucking memes. That shit is horrible. Not even a accurate translation. They just input whatever the fuck they want.

More than half the girls in-game are walking semen demons, skinship's hard programmed into the game, and the bathhouse alone justifies the dress-up shit being there, so the game might be safe just based upon the sheer amount of shit programmed into the game, save maybe a couple lines getting edited.

Then again, this is NoA we're talking about, so nothing's safe, just expect the worst. I'm already afraid the voice cast is going to suffer cause it sounds like Lowenthal and Burch are on board, and even though Awakening had it, I won't be surprised if NoA cuts dual-audio to save game space and pander to the #PerformanceMatters crowd.
