So after 2 months of NONSTOP viraling over this game quite literally everywhere, I decided to cave in and pirate this game to see what the big fuss was all about. I was disappointed to learn that it was a turn based RPG which are my least favorite games, but it supposedly has bullet hell segments which reminds me of Mario RPGs so I guess its not too bad.

But I quit 5 minutes into the game. It was too painfully boring for me.

After I talked to the obviously evil flower this lamb wizard started treating me like it's child and babying me with puzzles and mechanics. I tried circumventing or doing things my own way to see if any clever prompts would show up because this game is supposed to be quirky and meta as fuck according to some, but I got nothing. Just a "lol that switch doesn't even work".

In fact I think I know where I stopped precisely. When she showed me a dummy and started explaining how to fight. I was SO insulted, WHY would a game baby it's players like this? I get enough of that crap in Zelda and NSMB games... So yeah, after that I just said fuck this and quit. Does the game get better later on or does it keep babying you like this? I didn't want to grind on enemies 24/7 anyways like I said I LOATHE this genre.

Also, the graphics and movements struck me as really amateurish so I don't see what makes it look so cool. I guess that's what comes with an indie game of this sort.

So yeah, I probably won't play this again... I guess I have to filter the words "undertale" and RPG now. Sigh.
