What's so great about a giant paintbrush? In SMG, all he did with it was make a mess for Mario to clean up. And he hasn't used it since in any of the main games. In NSMB he fought on foot and was essentially a glorified Boom Boom. And in every other game, he's used some sort of vehicle. That's just something they did because they could take advantage of the fact that Jr was already on a Clown Car. He used it in games that came out before Sm4ash. The whole reason they decided to have him ride it there was because, like I said, he's been piloting machines for a while now. That became his thing years ago and it's not something that was ever common in the Mario universe no matter what you say. So, yes, it's unique and it's better than a useless paintbrush.

Except it's not. Nintendo never uses music, sprites, or models from Smash. The only exception is HAL, because duh, they used to make Smash and Kirby at the same time.

Look at the different arms, gloves, even the size of Jr himself. His snout is a different size as well. Again, the other option was to reuse Kr's old model because it's in house if Camelot.

I would really like to see individuals like Boom Boom, Diddy, Kamek, Birdo and so on. Ever since MK7 we've been seeing individuals scrapped and random stuff added. MP9 had Birdo and Kamek. By MP10, these two along with koopa and shy guy are gone, and we have spike.

Except it's kind of worth it since Bowser Jr is actually different

Also dry Bowser by default as a character is locked

he only appeared in tbe 3DS game and he's a neat character

For all we know maybe his design changes which is why he's locked

Toadette's new to Tennis
Rosalina is too but it people expected her to be in it which is why she's default

I'll give you Dry Bowser but it's still a unique character that is never starter material

Him, Bowser, and the Koopalings are the only characters who ride Clown Cars.

Bowser's been using it since SMW, Bowser Jr. got his own in NSMBWii, and the Koopalings ride in one in NSMB2.

Your point about Toad is irrelevant, since Toad would never be in a clown car.

The Clown Car is just as big, if not a bigger part of Bowser Jr.'s character now as the paintbrush was in his debut.
