If you're familiar with NSMB's mechanics it's a fairly straightforward platformer with a slight puzzle element to it.

Update is coming on November 4th. Includes 5 new things
1) Checkpoints
2) Stacked Upgrades (can make it so that you get Mushroom when little, Fire Flower/Cape/Whatever when Big)
3) Harder version of Gnat Attack
4) New tab in Course World for Official Nintendo-Made Courses
5) Event Courses (special courses that will come up seasonally. This is implied to include the ones with the previously announced bonus costumes, like the Famitsu and Arino costumes).

Decent for the first free update less than 2 months from release. Here's hoping the next update will focus on new themes and tools though. I'm still crossing my fingers for Desert and Snow themes, and would love Chargin' Chucks and Pokeys among other missing enemies.

It's only 5 days away dude. Have patience. But yeah, things will probably be slow until then, since I feel like people are now holding off on making new levels or revising current ones until the update takes hold.

I really wish that there was an option for level sharing for the editing. That way I could send someone a level idea, and they could make adjustments and upload it or send it back to me.

Then a lot of people might bitch about credit being taken for levels since there isn't a description box where you can give it.

I understand the principle of SMM is for everyone to revel in the joy of creating and playing levels, but there are really some pedants out there who whine about stars.
