Not playing a game or watching a show or reading a book because of its community is the worst possible reason you could ever take, and that's a fact, not an opinion. It is baseless, relies on changing anecdotal evidence, and presents a false positive about what the contents of the item you're looking at is.
"OH, retards play this game, ergo this game is retarded" is not logic, it's shallow dismissing of an entire spectrum simply because of a vocal minority. This entire thread is swathe with "This anon gets it!" on a bottom of the barrel scraping of logic, and if it wasnt for the fact that /v/ constantly jumps for reasons to hate popular games, and indie games, GOD FORBIT POPULAR INDIE GAMES, that I'm not even gonna call Samefag, but instead I'm just going to say that you're all really drawing information from the worst possible sources, and whatever "conclusions" you're brought from is from evidence outside of the game itself, instead of actually judging the game based on its merits and its merits alone, which is what matters.
