I love big team playlists and Warzone just doesn't do it for me. No power weapons on the map, all three of which are fairly bland. They seem really proud of the REQ system, and I admit I feel good hijacking scorpions knowing the tool driving it probably wasted money on it. Also all three maps are really bland.

That might help, also the REQ seems to really like spewing very particular, unhelpful weapons. I'd kill for some plasma pistols or shotguns but all you get is mongooses, fuel rods and speed boosts. Fuel rod is okay but any fuckwit can dodge it.

You get a lot of weapon certifications in silver packs I find. Was playing before and got a shotgun, minigun and Sniper certifications all from! Silver packs. Haven't had many vehical certs though, not even from gold packs. Only have the Ghost and Wraith ones so far. I want that fucking banshee one.

The issue is how they changed the focus of visual appeal in the newer halo games, instead of having cool looking armor, with neat designs or patterns. They changed it to make all the armor, and the guns have as much shit on it as possible to make it look "cooler" and more futuristic.

Just look at most of the Halo 3 and Reach armors and compare them to what we have in Halo 5. They are simple and have a good balance between realistic and SUPER COOL whereas Halo 5 constantly adds stuff that really doesn't do justice to the base designs.

Halo 3 had shit armors.

Reach undoubtly had the best, and also had the best customisation options. You could add shit to the helmets and choose specific armour types for different parts of the body. I don't mind Halo 5 armours, and there's a huge variety to choose from, but they should have used the Reach system. No doubt.

Halo 3 had best Multiplayer armor and armor in general.

Reach was pretty good too, I liked the extra options, but ultimately Halo 3's clean, well defined designs are better than the muted colors and scratched armor of Reach.

In later installments yes, but the original Mass Effect had a similarly unique design sense. It was all about dem geometric curves and hard angles. I think the design aesthetic was a big part of why ME succeeded and why so many people were pissed at the later games as bioware ditched all that.

A lot of the armor in reach had places to store mags, and other vital shit along with looking like it was actually designed to protect you instead of looking as generic and technical as possible, the armor back then had much more personality despite being way less intricate

I'm not the guy, but do you really think they had to limit it so fucking much where you can't even edit shoulder armor anymore? They limited it so much, I haven't seen all the body armor, but I have no idea if there is any asymmetrical sets. I almost always had different shoulders for each side. I loved how my spartan came out in reach because of being able to edit the left forearm too.

Tge way I've been looking at it is this.

In past halos, getting a full set of armor that distinguished yourself took a while.

Now, it just takes 2 unlocks and POOF. you suddenly have a completely different look.
