I bought it on release, played it for a week and haven't even had an urge to play it since.

It's fun, especially with friends, but the environments do feel very limited. You're in there thinking that you'll be able to explore the whole fucking moon and it's just a big map essentially. Gets repetitive really quickly.

Also "expansion packs" that they clearly didn't want to push back the release date to include in the original game. Fuck that noise.

Go fer' it. If you're going to get a PS4, might as well get the best looking one.

Destiny is quite fun if you're into FPS, I've been playing quite a bit of it since the Taken King came out.

Don't take /v's opinion on games as anything to think about. These are the same kind of people that put indie-shit like Undertale as GOTY.

I'm still pissed I bought the original white destiny bundle; Much like the game, it was a half-assed job. Oh well, not like I'd spend anymore money on this series. I'm sure the bundle with the sequel next yea will be even better.

It's great fun with friends, but on your own it can be a drag. The grind is very real, and the fact that almost everything relies on RNG is frustrating. Also, there's no matchmaking for most end-game content, so after a certain point you either have to have friends with you or deal with randoms like some kind of pleb. Also, they've recently introduced in-game purchases with real money. So far it's only cosmetic content, but with Activision at the wheel, who knows if that will remain the case.
