So you wonder why Nintendo fans suddenly became so vocal and so defensive? I think that the goodwill is shifting. No new zelda, metroid, f-zero, smash 4 was mediocre and brawl 2.0, Pikmin fans getting spoiled, the amiibo clusterfuck making nobody happy at all(dumb figures with no worthwhile support, why is there no fucking wii u skylanders game with nintendo characters nintendo, and for those that like to collect amiibos, you have to play "out-autist the autist" to get any of them, and the shitposters going "lol its easy to stay up till 4 am on a work or school night and refresh the website until you get the preorder, what are you, a casual? :^) :^) :^))
In short, the shitty fanbase being extra bumshattered and the constant and endless lackluster efforts from Nintendo has sort of killed it. Wii was okay. But everyone was expecting more from Nintendo and I think people are realizing that they can't deliver it anymore. We got so fucking foaming at the mouth hyped over the next retro game, people were more or less saying their hopes and dreams for a new mind blowing game and we got another(excellent) donkey kong game that was just another donkey kong game. People are expecting The Witcher 3 + Dark Souls for Zelda U and its gonna be another shit game
