What's so great about PC gaming?

Why should anyone spend over $1000 just to play badly optimized multiplats and steam greenlight games? Most noteworthy games like LoL and CS:GO can run on any ordinary toaster.

Online games are ruined by hackers, and the majority of PC exclusive titles are either strategy games or running simulators like arma/dayz.

I feel like there's this "stick it to the man" mentality, where people don't want to support companies like Sony or Nintendo just because this belief in corporate greed, and how consumers are nothing but sheep.

Well I don't know about you, but I love video games. That has been my hobby for the past 14 years and I will support a company if they are making games I want to play. I like going to the game store and buying physical copies of games, and game trade-ins are way more economical in the long run.

I look at my steam library and all I see is buyers remorse. Most games I bought on summer sale have less than an hour of playtime and the ones I have beaten are sitting there collecting dust as Gabe Newell laughs to the bank.

Fuck it PC gaming is overrated.
