It's been a long time, so I don't remember... but it's basically RE4, but if you hold L, you can strafe while aiming, which is the only difference. Rev1's tight corridors and overall small enemy encounters make RE4 controls really shine.

So I have the 3ds version and haven't been motivated to play through it, mostly because I'm kind of over playing on handhelds. Should I pay 10 dollars for the wii u version, because I'm pretty sure I would actually force myself through it. Do they actually add some good extra content/is it a lot better, or should I just force myself through the 3ds version?

So the game itself is like 3gb. That's reasonable, but Nintendo needs to include larger storage capacity with their consoles. This would take up almost everything on a packaged SD card.
