I sacrificed Arcadia Bay because fuck undoing everything I had gone through.
Plus they never actually explicitly show anyone dead. The diner still seemed to be fairly in tact so one could assume Frank, Pompidou, Warren and Joyce survived at least (I doubt Chloe would have been smiling like she was at the end had her mom died).
I dunno, overall, I just feel like this was the better option to take. This was my first playthrough though so I'll be sure to do things differently next time and see what I find to be the more satisfying conclusion.
