No, what you people don't understand is that really basic things that exist in all 2D fighting games are chopped out of 3S when you play at a competent level.
People hate 3S because it's a game that the better you are at it the LESS options you have. Block strings don't exist in 3S because anything more than 2 hits gets parried, frame traps have to be simplified to basically nothing because anything with any sort of frame advantage doesn't actually give you an advantage since it becomes predictable that you're going to frame trap, cross ups become non mixups because you tap ANY direction and you either parry or block making you completely safe from both ends, there's basically no offensive options you can safely do thanks to parrying completely shitting all over the game.
This is why the entire game boils down to Ken and Chun building meter all day fishing for
cr.MK confirms into super and Ken doing
cr.LK and backing up into kara throw, because that's all anyone can fucking do. The ONLY exception to this is Yun who can bypass footsies thanks to divekick and one of the few characters who has legitimate mixups and not just whiff punishes because he has a command throw.
