Hey everyone, I recently got the chance to converse with a few of Nintendo's higher ups at their recent investors meeting. I was told a couple of things that for my sake, I will stay anonymous and I can't state the source as of yet. I was told what this Direct will contain for the most part, so hear me out.
To start off, I was told that the Nintendo Direct that is supposed to air this year will go live within the last two weeks of November. They'll have quite a bit to talk about actually, even though this holiday season is seeming a bit dry.
The Direct will start off like many have, with a new Smash character announcement. Well, why not make that three characters?
Following that, there will be a short tribute section for Satoru Iwata, which passed this recent Summer.
Tatsumi Kimishima will then present himself.
He'll start to talk about how Nintendo is a "game changer," and how much Nintendo has in store for us over the next few years.
He begins by slightly talking about Zelda Wii U. We will see a brief moment of gameplay and finally, we'll get a name.
Moving on from that, we will see brand new Splatoon content, but now in the form of paid DLC. This will add a whole new story mode, with far more collectibles than previously had. Something emphasized here was how it will have online co-op for two players this time around! I was told this DLC will be released pretty soon after the Direct.
Star Fox Zero will come on screen, and we'll see new gameplay. It will be slightly changed from the E3 demo, as Nintendo has been polishing and changing some textures. We get a release date of February 5th, 2016.
We get a new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X, just to remind us that the release date is coming up, along with the U.S. getting the collectors edition.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash shows up, just to remind us about it. We are promised free court and mode DLC sometime down the line.
