Pretty sure 99% of people here don't realize that the censored one only has the top changed. The shorts and leg wear are all from different armor. Xenoblade doesn't have one armor, but customizable pieces of armor.

Have you not played xenoblade? there is a head piece, left arm, right arm, top, bottom and feet each separate clothing parts to mix and match. The censored part is just the top. The underwear is the bottom, and isn't equipped in pic.

Let's break this down:
>The censorship in Fatal Frame was retarded. The characters is 17, looks 18 and the use of revealing clothing was purposely done to make people feel uncomfortable and a theme of the game is the exploitative nature of the modeling industry. It directly related to the plot and theme of the game.
>The removal of the bikini/revealing costumes for Lin is fine. In the localization, Lin is still 13 (not 15, confirmed by a 8-4 localizer today). In XCX, she looks and acts like she's 13 years old. The only reason behind these costumes fanservice, they serve no role in the story or theme of the game.
>These costumes aren't just simple bikini costumes, they're a lot more sexualized i.e. bunny costumes, sling bikinis, and the one in the op that shows a lot of underboob.
>Some European countries have strict laws with sexualizing minors in media. This shit would not fly there.

Actually, all those people you see on the stream aren't all just marketers.

Also, translation isn't the only thing they do, they have to program it into the games as well and make sure the games run as well as they can with the new stuff added in.
