Bethesda's games are buggy as fuck, everyone just overlooks it because LATEST BETHESDA GAME HYPE TRAIN. Just look at how many things unofficial patches for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim respectively fix. Fallout 3, too.

Do you honestly, in all your stupidity think that F:NV and FO3 is equal in terms of writing, choices? The only reason that FO3 had better reviews was because it came out first and was new, because NV did everything better than 3.
Even the people that prefer 3 can only point to "muh atmosphere" when given a reason why.
If Obsidian had made it wouldn't be what it is now.
Plenty of us are very familiar with Bethesda and it's pattern of dumbing things down title after title and from what we've seen of it so far it seems consistent with it's track record, FO4 will be no different.

1. Far less lore rape.

2. Fewer "black and white" choices.

3. No stupid and hamfisted ending that vanilla Fallout 3 has and that 4 will likely have.

4. Characters you actually give half a shit about and decent character development.

The one major downside is that it will still be the same shitty Gamebryo engine from Skyrim with slightly better lighting effects.

The dialogue wheel is the worst fucking thing. why in the hell is it even a thing? Just tell me exactly what I can say so i can make a decision instead of having every option be DOUBT. It would have the effect of lengthening playtime too so PR could tout 9000 hours of playtime.

There would be one or two well-written, naunced quests.

The rest of the game would be bugs, reused assets, shells of cut content, and more bugs.

Obsidians drones would point to the one or two good parts over and over again calling it a masterpiece.

Everyone else would just go back to playing Fallout 3 in a few weeks.
