Not him but I make about 8 before taxes and depending on the month 4-5 extra in side work and consultations.

I would be ecstatic if someone handed by 15 grand out of nowhere but it depends on how long the dude worked on the game. If it was 6 month long project than its really not an impressive return on investment.
