Vault 11 and 19 had some nifty lore, albeit the whole apocalypse logs thing is done to death at this point.
I like Vaults as lore elements, but I really do not like how they're implemented as mini dungeons in the games. Fallout just doesn't do justice to that sort of gameplay.
