My roommate let me have his copy of AC IV for PS3. Is it worth a play through? I liked 1 and 2, liked Brotherhood and Revelations less, and hated 3.

As a follow up, is it worth playing through on PS3, or should I wait for the Steam Christmas sale where it'll probably be 75% off?

It's been a while, but I remember liking the naval battles, but not the shitty management minigame. I liked being in a boat, but not telling other, imaginary boats what to do.

As far as PC/PS3, is it worth playing the PS3 version? It does currently have the advantage of being free, but is it worth paying for the PC version?

I played the PS3 version myself, and had no problems. Just go for it on PS3, it's free.

Also PC version has some weird bugs where the ship floats in air or ends up upside down or something.

It's fun. If you enjoy pirates at all you'll dig it. The long lasting tutorial is annoying but once you're done with it and can start really customizing your ship and exploring what you want you'll have a blast.
I actually plan on doing another play through soon (as soon as i man the fuck up and finish outlast)
