Boycott this shit and buy it used, Jesus. It's hard but do it. Censorship is never not disgusting. Everyone would have the option to just avoid this costume. Now it's locked away from us and Nintendo makes decisions over OUR heads and over the idea of the DIRECTOR and ARTISTS that were working on this game.

Now it just looks like an uglier version of her vanilla costume with autismo shorts (that are the same as her default shorts?).

Unlocking stuff, especially when it is ridiculous, skimpy or fun, is great and motivating. People also like to roleplay and maybe give their characters swimsuits when diving for a while. Her new outfit doesn't look like it's appropriate for diving at all and she sticks out like a sour thumb. Cut content is cut content anyway and censorship is something absolutely disgusting and pointless in new media Age. Everyone knows what she can wear in the Japanese version, everyone has seen it. They could have just changed her age since her body looks 20 anyway. It would be dumb but better than cutting content

Look how badass and even kinda cool she looked in this and with her mature body. This was her redeeming factor, this made her charismatic. Now she is really just that potato kid. RIP.

Honestly I don't know much about the game. I loved the first but I make it a rule not to pay any real attention to games before 3 or 4 weeks before release. I don't get hyped or bored and I miss out on a huge chunk of bitching.

I want a better battle system than 1 but if I get a lot of land to explore I'll be happy.

You are in luck. Everything in XCX: sidequests, battle system and exploration is improved 10 fold. Many importers say that XCX has the best gameplay in the series.

Deep and long story, tough enough difficulty and highly user-friendly systems remind of old RPGs in a good way. The huge open world is packed with a countless number of stories and it will require time and effort to tackle them properly. Pilotable Dolls are irresistible gems for people who like robots, as there are plenty of customization elements and you can dynamically transform the vehicle. There is much to do, and while it may feel tiresome, you’ll get a sense of accomplishment.

It’s fun to adventure seamlessly in a huge field which overflows with the sense of freedom. Things like huge primitive creatures are also exciting. Adventuring is pleasant thanks to a handy Skip Travel feature which allows for movement by touching the map. There are plenty of strategy elements and although they are complex to an extent, unique systems like “Soul Voice”, which activates under certain conditions, are interesting. You can also enjoy other strategy elements like arts, skills and Dolls, or the customization.

The word “grand” describes this really epic game precisely. The huge field is beautiful and the excitement doesn’t run out in this adventure when the view changes from day to night. Things like the world setting are explained carefully and cut-scenes appear often so it is a bit of waste that things tend to progress slowly. It would also be good if the tempo of conversations was a bit faster. It’s nice that you can attack fiercely when you get the knack of combat. It’s also charming how enemies or Dolls launch attacks from different types of customizable parts.

It’s fun to move around and explore the seamless open world without any stress and there are many gimmics which take use of vastness of the map. The combat combines action games with a command-based system, the tempo is good, and battles are highly strategic. The story is carefully made, but there is a strong feeling of just watching a movie. There are also many cases where game systems aren’t properly explained and one has to stumble around in the dark.

There's no fist weapon so no punching auto-attacks, but there are punching/kicking Arts for the Psycho Launchers, kind of like flying turrets which fire on their own and while using them you can punch shit at the same time.

I want to play it but the UI looks too cluttered. Numbers popping out of enemies takes up a huge amount of the screen. Sometimes you can hardly see what is even going on behind all the overlapping numbers popping up. and the rest of the interface just seems like a lot of information to process at once

#FE kinda has that problem too, modern rpgs need a whole fucking gimmick to just doing a normal attack or a spell or something, not every thing needs a "twist" or gimmick ffs

its actually shit. The hairstyles are tied to faces (ie if you pick shounen face you can only pick fuckboy hair) and there's no option to tweak facial features. Also very limited customization options in general.
Its really pathetic that RPGs from a fucking decade ago have better character creation than this.

I did the same.
I also don't know much about the story and the characters since I've been avoiding most trailers.
I bought Xenoblade without having even heard anything about it except that there was a petition for its localization and it was the biggest surprise I've ever had. Not knowing which characters will join your party in a RPG is really refreshing, I hate when devs show them all right away.
