If I remember correctly, they only state that her lungs were destroyed, and possibly parts of her digestive system, like her stomach. Everything else is just speculation.

i had a luck streak of coming across nukes for like a week and my FOB was under constant attack,
their not worth it resource wise and piss easy to steal

maybe once gunships are released but even then fuel is a bitch to process

I still can't get over how little effort was put into the side ops.

I think half the problem is labeling them side ops at all. They could have just been emergent things that you could stumble on while roaming around. Why does half a dozen soldiers and 2 tanks sitting alongside a road, or some faceless POW sitting in a shed need to be a SIDE OP and not just something that's fucking there as part of the world anyway?

They seem designed to provide small, discrete challenges to allow you to more freely experiment with items, mechanics, and AI reactions in a lower-stakes, lower-stress context than main missions while still boosting stat sheet numbers in the meta game. That's fine but the problem is there's nothing inherently interesting or engaging about any of the missions or objectives in themselves, outside of the chance to experiment with mechanics.

There's no relevant story information. There's no dynamically or unexpectedly shifting mission parameters. Objectives never change or expand or develop into anything else on the fly. Side op enemy AI never utilizes communication with outside elements or call for backup. They never relocate or move around in the world outside their little circle. Beyond the extent of your ability to navigate terrain and neutralize enemies differently, there aren't even different ways the missions can play out because every single objective essentially boils down to "go to the circle on the map and make X number of things go away."
Sometimes it's people, sometimes it's containers, sometimes it's tanks but it's never any more complex than "press button on thing to win."

That means by the time you reach the endgame and already seen all or most of the variation the core mechanics and tools allow for, there's literally nothing of value to be found in them because their only purpose has already been exhausted.
