I actually went there one time for some reason, I think to check for leaks. Anyone else baffled by Dragon Quest Builders? Its literally minecraft Dragon Quest edition. Not even like the dumb comparison like Q*bert=Catherine, everything from the graphics, the hub, the menus, everything is like minecraft.

I think it's a promising idea. I enjoy Minecraft but I'd like to see the same concept done by a bigger publisher and with a more RPG-focused concept.

It's pretty shameless, but conceptually it's something I think sounds awesome.

Been a while so I couldn't say anything in detail. I remember since the trailer mentioned Platinum first, the thread reacted to that, and then when Taros name and then the title came up it was mostly just sheer disbelief. The reaction to Platinum was a fair bit stronger but there were a ton of people just shocked a Nier 2 was happening.

For me it was basically "Oh Platinum and Square? Awesome." followed by "Okabe and Saito? Oh wow. Reminds me Taro is working on something. That won't be at E3 though" and then his name came up on screen and I just sort of blanked.

Since they only mentioned PS4 a lot of people were pointing out it was exclusive and then others were saying "It's probably not exclusive, they were probably told to only mention that version" and shit like that, I remember that.

I remember the assumption in the actual DoD/Nier threads after that was that they went for it simply because that's where their audience is and the 360 version of Nier must not have done too well. D3 was PS3 exclusive too so that's most likely the case.
