He feels out of place in a coordinated push or defense though. He'd need to be the second tank and I'd rather run Winston/Zarya or Winston/Reinhart. Alternatively that's a slot that could be a more aggressive fighter like Soldier 76.

People that argue that the customization aspect of TF2 didn't ruin TF2 are fucking delusional. The initial customization was great, class updates came along with class videos, crafting was relevant, there was a small pool of items that didn't 'replace' anything (except for old Natasha jfc), it was great.

Somewhere down the road it just got fucking ridiculous.

I like passives, they add an extra neat level of gameplay. And since this is just tf2, it needs as much extra little bits of gameplay as possible.

That isn't a passive though, its his movement skill.

Passives are fine in rare cases, in HotS and League that shit is the center point of a character and everything is built around it. Junkrat's is "lol explosives, so explosives when you die" which is fine.

Everything was pretty fine up until it went f2p honestly, then it slowly declined from there as interest from the team was moved to other games

Gun mettle 2.0 and comp matchmaking are said to come out by the end of this year, they skipped halloween to work on it, so I still have my hopes up. What will kill tf2 will not be any other game, but by people simply not being able to run the fucking thing anymore.
