Ammo isn't really a factor in TF2 either, regenerating ammo packs, ammo from kills, and dispensers ensure that you never run out of ammo.

Isn't blast radius way lower than TF2 and the maps have a shit ton of paths/flanks that you can barely deny one path, if that's even possible ?

The problem with TF2 is high number of players servers + blast radius + sticky launcher + low amount of flanks/paths on several maps.
