What's the best way for me to quickly toggle cleric mode. I have it set to ctrl-1 atm but it feels cumbersome to switch mid heals

I use 1-9, F1-F12 and all my keys around WASD.
I really recommend changing all your hotkeys for that kind of setup because the default shift+key or ctrl+key might result in mistakes.

It's less about them taking more damage and more about them having less of a buffer. One bad move or lag spike or anything can drop a tank then your whole party wipes even have swiftcast+raise the tank because they just don't have the TP/MP to pick the enmity back up and you just wasted five minutes on an easy pull

Once you have ironworks pretty much all lvl 50 gear you acquire afterwards is garbage, and it can be obtained by doing trash over and over again. Only coil of bahamut stuff surpasses it.
