Yes, but only as RW for physical parties. I used it for Jenova. Cloud and Seph dealing 8k x2 with tempo flurry is good. It also stacks with other atk buffs.

So I've done the math and I need to ask: Is 1 R4 full break worth it? Sure, i get an abillity slot, but whatelse is a support character gonna do? Not attack, for sure. Wow. I've never beaten the shit out of a 99 boss like I did JENOVA Life. My party was level 64 Cloud retaliating, uncapped Zack, Paladin Cecil for mitigation, Tifatits for double cut, and Aerith for healing/irony. I set my buffs in the second round, stopped the boss with seal evil, stuck poison too for 1600 a round, then get the advantaliate rape train going. I got perfect medals.

Well, think about what might change that behavior in straight people.
Children, marriage, family etc. There's not much need for gay people to give up that life style once they hit their late 20s/early 30s, it's only when they age and their libido dies down that they do.

I actually went to the Wind Shrine to get AP for Control while minimizing exp gain to avoid overleveling. For the same reason, I tend to run from a lot of fights while I'm hunting down blue magic or backtracking so no Brave Blade for me.

I like to keep my levels fairly low so I naturally end up running quite a bit. Being overleveled is no fun - especially since generally you can always come up with something that doesn't involve grinding for levels to get past a roadblock as long as you understand the mechanics well enough. I enjoy trying out different things and the lower leveled I am, the more likely I am to have to think of new ways to deal with things.

First boss fight so far that wasn't a complete steamroll. Way more HP than anything else so far and I was doing pretty poor damage even with two ninjas with Spellblade Thundara. Thankfully I had a nice stockpile of Thunder Scrolls dropped by enemies out at sea.

For poison, Venom Buster is typically better because it deals decent damage on top of poisoning.

Stop is the best ability for applying the status but you're pretty much going to need two mages chaining Stop to prevent a boss from getting a turn because it doesn't last long.

For Poison use Venom Buster. Or Edgar's Bioblaster as a RW.
For Stop, Shadowbind seems to have a decent success rate for me, if you can afford it. Aerith's default SB also works well.

Aside from adding actual main characters, the remake is fairly true to the original. But a lot of people seem to hate on FF3 in general. If you liked the original you'll like the remake. They tried to mitigate the whole thing with some classes becoming obsolete as the game went on, but they were only partially successful in that. It's still a good game though. If you play it, don't play the DS version though because some stuff is locked behind Wi-fi stuff that no longer works. The PSP version took out the wi-fi requirements. And it looks and sounds better.

I'd hold off tbh unless you're certain you want quake.

Ruinga is right around the corner with hope's event and its pretty much superior to quake in every single way. Its non-elemental so nothing resists it, and it doesn't more damage than quake.

Not with Mana Spring II or Ethers. Even in a single instance ++ battle Thundaja would do more damage (49 vs. 54) unless the boss is weak to thunder and you hit the damage cap, in that one case Thundaga would be the better option.

Hypnocrown isn't bad if you run a mage party. It's AoE Mental Breakdown with wind damage.

The battle looks kinda easy. I'll try this one:
WM with Curaga and Diaga
Support with Sleep Buster and Venom Buster
3 BM including one Stop
One BM spams Stop every turn. Support tries to stick first poison then sleep, after sleep sticks the support goes to sleep himself and the 3 BM and the other 4 hit with magic. Let's see if that'll work. Ideally I shouldn't take a single hit.

Did a 50 mythril pull on the Organics banner. Got a Shinra Helmet and a pile of junk.

My lucky draw yielded Sephiroth's Masamune. It's no OWA, but it's the first katana I've ever pulled, so I'm pretty stoked. Also pulled a 4 star sword from X I can combine for some much needed synergy. All in all, could've been a lot worse.

And a gigantaur gifted me with one final greater holy orb that I needed badly on my last stage before the reset. Here's hoping for a pile of greater ice and greater summon orbs.

My 3 lucky draws were Vivi's Oak Staff after his status of best black mage had long ago fallen away, Firion's Demon Axe when Firion is from FF2 and bad even by that game's standards (although 113 ATK at level 20 is pretty good), and literally nothing but 3 4*s and a bunch of 3*s I already had 3*++s of.

The key for the ++ fight is to time your stop uses well so Jenova can't attack. May take some S/Ls but it is doable once you're able to time out when to use it. Retaliate & Bioga work really well here

Well, I finally got my first and only lucky draw relic: Sou Sabre for Celes. Already have two 5* swords for VI synergy and don't have Celes (though thankfully she's coming soon) but at least I finally got something and it'll make a nice RW for some events. Can't really complain about this.

That was the easiest EX++ fight I ever had.

And half of it was because I took Refia for my last slot over Galuf and she rewarded me by having Dismissal make the boss skip a turn, so that by the time he fired off Red Light, I had applied Magic Breakdown and Full Break and was sitting behind Sentinel's Grimoire and Shellga to boot.

Other strategies are viable, but require a lot more gear and hones than a basic Retaliate setup. It's not necessarily the way you're expected to play, but it is something you pretty much have to do if you want to take on harder content before accumulating a shit ton of orbs and gear.

I've been getting a pretty good haul so far: it's all just random. I got way fewer black orbs (which was the one thing I really needed) in phase 1 compared to the other orbs on the first day, but got a shit ton of them towards the end, and phase 3 gave me exactly what I needed (+3 Major Earth Orbs as a nice bonus) with only like 5 mythril spent.

Yeah, just hold out for Ruinga. Carbuncle is the only 4 star summon that really matters. Everything else generally falls into the category of "nice to have if the boss is weak to it's element AND you can abuse a Runic Blade RW to spam the shit out of it."
