Welp, this game is literally frustration. Which is a shame because the combat is great. Its littered with critical bugs that have actually put my computer at risk several times, including nearly frying my card despite adequate cooling. Crashing and freezing desktop. Crash on victory, no host reassignment, BSOD. Consistent utter bullshit boss spawns. I'll be back eventually, its a shame, I really do like the game.

That's a horrible, horrible disservice to the pistols
They're extremely good against specials (especially assassins, which they can permanently stunlock into their evade-roll from a range if you can keep hitting them with every pellet) and they pierce armour so you can use them on Stormvermin. They're also very good for thinning out hordes as they approach, and you can snipe with them fairly well too so you can use them to pop globadiers and gunners safely.

The people I've seen play Waywatcher play her like some kind of sniper class that can't do shit in melee. It's infuriating because they insist on sitting in hard to reach spots or trail behind so a gutter runner can stab their tits off and no-one can help.

They may not be front-line fighters, but they are great for picking off the little bastards sneaking up from behind, or even flenking big mobs from the sides and whittling them down. Hell chug a speed potion and jumping into the group and you become a fucking flurry of death.

I literally cannot do melee stuff on a keyboard. I might have some mental issues, I don't know.

Besides, headshotting is almost irrelevant for the regular rats (by which I mean they usually die to a bodyshot or there is a decent chance of winging a headshot into a crowd), and when specials are about I either have time to aim or I'm already at melee range.

base stats are always better based on item quality, and tend to push you over breakpoints for swings required to kill certain enemies. The special bonus traits are random, though in personal experience higher quality tend to get numbers toward the high end when unlock traits (ie 5-10% chance to get hp on kill, high quality items tend to get closer to 10% than low quality). I have seen greens with higher proc chances than oranges though, and some oranges just have a garbage set of traits to the point where a green or blue is still better.

Higher quality items always have more trait slots though. 1 for green, 2 for blue, 3 for orange, I assume 4 for red though I've never gotten a red drop.

Personally i think a strong melee is better like a zwei since you can kill 3+ rats per swing. Same deal with hp on kill.

It's not infinite ammo by any means but you can usually pull 5-10 bullets per horde.

I want to get all the game's sound files, but don't really know how. The game runs on Autodesk Stingray engine, but it's relatively new so there's like no documentation online at all.

All the game files have names like 'fad567ae75995364' and have no format, there's a few files with the .stream format which I can't find anything about either.

Tried getting a trial version of the engine from Autodesk, but the download just keeps failing.

Anyone have experience with this kind of shit?

But I lost because the bots insist on standing in front of all of my shots and chasing my grenade. Well, that and standing there literally doing nothing while another bot lies at their feet bleeding out.

the beam staff's cone blast is really powerful but the beam itself just isn't that great. imo the conflag staff is the most useful since you can just drop it at the feet of your teammates to save them from being swarmed (forget about FF because the damage is negligible)

There's a long, drawn out animation for the Wizard prior to when it looks like you're able to use your charged up attack, but if you just spam LMB after hitting RMB you can use it fairly early. Is there any difference in damage or area of effect? Or should I keep spamming LMB.
Also am I taking damage the second I pass that mark around the one third mark on the bar? I saw flames come up the side of my screen so I assumed I was.

I never touched MGSV or GZ, thought it ran on a mediocre engine praised by Kojima fans.

So I have a pair of Rare Drakefire Pistols and they dont even 1shot on Hard. I dont see the appeal. The traits are -40% spread and 19% chance to knock opponents back.

Am I using them wrong? Are exotic better to the point of 1shotting things or something? Because having to double tap baby vermin and taking 5+ shots on specials seems mediocre when Handcannon and Grudge Rakers exist that 1shot everything and are more accurate with hitscan.

Dont get me wrong, Drakefires are fun as shit. But they dont seem to be end-all-be-all amazing..?

Beam staff is very good. The shotgun attack is amazing, you can solo hordes thanks to it. Beam does low dmg, true, but it's amazing vs special because you can perma stun them if you aim for the head (some of them at least, others are immune to stun, like packmaster)
However, you need a good melee weapon to go along with it.

Yes, that's the only way inscreased FOV can work.

90-100 is pretty optimal for an experienced PC FPS player. Also more baller because it feels like you're a speed demon.

The standard strategy is for all of you to rush to the farthest two wheat bags and put them in the caravan, it'll always be just in time for the ogre to spawn.

From there you can either all hide in the caravan and shoot it from inside, or have two players kite and kill it, one defending their path, and one nearby killing hordes/distracting stormvermin.

After the ogre encounter it's fucking piss easy.

Bad is relative. The difficulty in the game isn't so intense that you can't make anything work if your team plays properly. But as the health of your enemies starts to climb, the low damage of the one hander/shield weapons starts to become really noticeable.

It's easy to keep the skaven off your teamate but the damage is so shit. I can do the same, and even better with the 2handed hammer.
Better reach, huge chance of knockdown, not as slow as you'd expect for a maul.
Sure the shield has like 5+ stamina but how often do you need to spam that 5 times in a row ? When I use the hammer I can keep every rat at bay easily.

It's when GW decided to fluff out the apocalypse and kill the entire setting. Here was a few redeeming things in the details, but overall it was a complete clusterfuck of bad fluff created by idiotic business decisions. Oh, and GW having a fan-boner for Chaos and being sore about the whole Storm of Chaos campaign that should ahve advanced the setting resulting in the Empire basically no-selling the entire invasion.

This is similar to an actual issue I have with the game.

Those single rats that see you coming and just bug out being scared. Thats cool, its flavourful and thematic. But. That then means you are actively choosing to kill a non-combatant who is afraid of you and has no meaningful chance against you. Sure you can say its war, or that they are just skaven, or whatever makes you sleep better at night. But you just chose to kill a sentient being in cold blood. It offers no benefit for game, other then possibly that one finally growing some courage and catching up to attack you.

Thats kind of twisted if you think about it.

Every time. I don't get why people delude themselves into believing it's easier by camping on a tiny ledge in a corner instead of camping by the horn and staircase so you can escape by dropping into the hole immediately.

I had an Empire Soldier who pulled this shit. I absolutely refused to move ahead until he picked up this medkit considering he had piss-all health. He finally gathered enough sense to come up to it, then he spent a good 10-15 seconds just staring at it and walking around a little bit in some sort of "lets go" fashion, then went on ahead and died.

It's incredible how some people don't have a thought process. I could have healed him myself but why the hell should I have to when it was RIGHT THERE. RIGHT FUCKING THERE ALDJKFSS.

Guys, I've found a way to do a "double tap" for Witch Hunter. which is pretty neat if you're about to get clobbered.

With your pistols out, tap right click then quickly double left click, you'll shoot twice with the same gun.

Actually they won't. Test it yourself. If you ever get an occasion where you can avoid getting near the fearful ones they won't suddenly aggro after you pass (unless a vermin tide starts).

And yeah its a video game. The point I'm saying is think about it. Use critical thought. It makes you a better person to do more then just act, but to think about your actions. Even if they are in a game.

Bullshit, after 5 seconds or so of cowering in fear they go after you regardless of what you do or what's happening. Besides the only reason they're cowering in fear is because they can't stab you in the back when you're already looking at them.
