Nuclear Throne is an indie top down twinstick shooter developed by Vlambeer which follows the story of mutants embarking in a post-apocalyptic world to seek out the Nuclear Throne.

Current Build: Update 94
Current Weekly: Crystal/Crown of Guns
This Weekly's Tips: Long arms is gud. Get a wrench and scarier face to shit on crows in the scrapyard. Hope for a sledgehammer, but a shovel is guaranteed later. Strong Spirit won't be available until one of your last mutations. Impact wrists is gud. Use it to weaken enemy swarms for easier wrenching. There's an Ultra Shovel early on in Loop 1. Ultra Shovel is very gud. Keep an eye on your rads. Stress is a decent mutation to make your melee swings faster. tl;dr: melee run, go slow, don't be stupid.
Grab a Super Crossbow from 4-1 to deal with Lil Hunter. His spawn is great, so blast him a few times to shut him up. Super Xbow is great for taking out snowbots with cars. Cursed Shovel on 5-2, post Throne 2, swap it for an Ultra Shovel. There's a Heavy Xbow on 5-2. Use it to put Big Dog down. He's active immediately, so dodge sniper fire and shoot Big Dog up from a distance. Made it to #5 using these strats.
