Face Hunter is the true cancer of this game. Secret Pally and Druid FoN + Savage don't even compare.
It is a braindead deck that teaches players they can win by ignoring everything that you should have to pay attention to to win, and shows Blizzard's complete incompetence in balancing and their lack of understanding of their very own game.
So, to all the face hunters out there who think they're hot shit because they can play on the same level as someone who has cerebral palsy,

It's just a standard midrange pally list. For a while I also used -1 Murlock Knight, -1 Quartermaster, -1 Justicar, +1 Equality, +1 Loatheb, +1 Sylvanas. Most variations are good, it just depends on what meta you're facing. Midrange pally has good matchups against secret pally and both popular druid variations which dominate the ladder from ranks 5-1, so now that Patron is dead it's a pretty strong.

Braindead wins are still wins. Wins that I can't otherwise get for such a low cost. I agree face hunter being so strong is a problem, but so is the paywall and immense barrier to entry the game has at this stage.

Well I think I have to buy Naxx and eventually BRD, but that was on a battle.net gift card I got years ago. It bugs me that face hunter is the best course (I mean I literally started playing last week), but obviously I'd wanna end my dependence on it as soon as I could.

Nah, I even kept shredder, everything else is just crowd control until I get to turn 4 (or in my case, turn 3, kek).

I even played around his redemption and he fucking conceded to that, lmmfao. No idea why people talk shit about oil rogue, seems good in this meta. I've found 2 deckhands to be particularly effective, either they can be a finisher or simply backstabs 3-4, they're great.

Great counter to secret pally. Make sure you run double equality and potentially a BGH and you'll do just fine most of the time, I don't even think BGH is that necessary when you have double equality double aldor already.

they exist but they arnt good especially when mtg has so much interaction. The counterspell secret in mtg costs 2 and can be used at any time and doesnt need to be prepared, it can also counter minions.

He's a luxury. In really slow tempo decks like Malygos he's pretty great, in fast tempo like the ones on ladder he's not included.

At least make it only apply to enemy minions then, and change the stats to something playable and worthy of a leggo, like yeti stats (4/5). A yeti that might hurt or help your opponent depending on RNG, seems reasonable and potentially playable while not being broken (or garbage like it currently is).

Also you could directly implement that just fine, make it sort of like the joust ability except you reveal 5 cards from just your deck, have some animation (similar to the "burn" milling effect but murloc-themed) and then put the other cards back in the deck like joust (on the bottom of course).

Literally. 1 drop 2 drop 3 drop 4 drop. That's what you want to win every game. Maybe a divine favor thrown in there if you're aggro against slow matchups, if midrange you just want to curve forever up through turn 7 boom turn 8 tirion shit.

Non-aggro paladin is literally "play 1 card each turn equal to the amount of mana you have".dec. Aggro paladin is similar but once you hit around 4 mana you start playing multiple cards or hero powering.

True. But you get my point. If you don't have truesilver/BoK you play multiple cards/hero power. Turn 5 you probably hero power if you don't kill a nigga already. The thing that really makes me laugh is how I don't even need owl these days. I'm literally playing without any owl whatsoever, no silence at all, and I'm even beating echo mages with dup'd belchers. 21 points of taunt and a flamestrike, and I still fucking won through that shit. I gave the deck to my brother and he played his first game against a super-fatigue warrior, a guy that played like double shield block, turn 5 coin'd justicar with lots of tank ups, bashes, both shieldmaidens, etc, gaining all the armor in the world, and STILL got him within 3 points of lethal. He even probably could have won if he went face instead of trading with the justicar (I tried to warn him but he did it anyways).

Crazy crazy deck, eboladin. I love it.

it used to be a really popular shaman card - less so now; the idea is that right now lightning storm is too clunky with its mana cost, especially when more often than not it's killing a bunch of 1 hp stuff anyway. So you can plop down a wild pyro and use any one of the suite of six 1 mana removal spells to get a ghetto swipe

another thing is, the deck needs more card draw than a normal shaman deck, cause it needs to draw into lethal combos, so it runs acolyte of pain; when you have wild pyro up you can proc your acolyte with spells

I have only been playing a couple of weeks but direct damage and one turn kills for 15+ hp out of absolutely nowhere are a fucking blight and make me not want to play anymore.

It's feels like either a) I play a deck that takes 20 minutes to win a game while memorizing and playing around every meta setup there is or b) play a meta netdeck.

It's frustrating. I don't even feel any satisfaction in beating them because it feels like the only reason is they didn't draw the gimmick their deck revolves around.

Should I just give in and become the scum?

if you dont have hundreds of dollars to spend on packs/arenas I would suggest scrapping a shit ton of the epics/rares that you dont use and craft the cards you want for your "main" deck/class.

You can then focus on crafting the epics/legendaries that you need for your favorite deck without breaking your bank.

The meta legendaries are the ones you see in every game past rank 10.

A good all around legendary to start with would be dr boom.

alexstrasza is another good legendary to have in almost every deck.

ysera is a good one.

sylvanas is another great one.

these are only a few of the meta legendaries that are in 99% of higher rank decks. if you dont know what legendaries to craft first, craft one of those depending on how your deck is currently.

Fucking terrible suggestion man. He needs to be able to complete dailies and if he scraps all his other class cards he's gonna be stuck with basics forever.

The best thing for any new player to do is to just do their dailies, save gold and take cracks at arena once they have a good understanding of how to make trades efficently. ONLY dust cards you have max copies of, and dust golds when you already have 2 copies of the originals. Then use that dust to save up for legendaries.

Once you get decent at arena you can start buying adventures.

It's pretty damn fun, especially when your opponent gets a Hero power that requires an enemy minion to activate, and all you have to do it not play any minions and casually wait until you get your combo pieces, it's dope. Essentially locking your opponent down while removing the stuff he puts down
