I've seen a lot of bronze and silver players with actually good mechanics who just throw games by doing the dumbest shit, like calling for a dragon when they have no vision and the enemy team is still alive, or not expecting a Blitzcrank to invade their jungle at level one or something.

You're in luck - a Rioter (Meddler I think?) was talking on the Boards just yesterday about how Shaco is going to get some QoL buffs coming soon. They were talking about Shaco's clone appearing at a random location next to him instead of always to one side and all champions with a clone will have their clones carry copies of their buffs (cosmetic only) so you can't instantly tell a Shaco from his clone by looking at him.

You're all salty over KR's strength and debating whether to let it happen or encourage teams to move there vs region-lock. Here's the problem. Riot doesn't want Korea to be the home of esports. They want NA to. because it's NA that shells out millions for skins. NA that buys all the merch. NA that /consumes/ the game.

If Korea is overwhelmingly dominant, then the dream dies and NA revenues begin to stagnate. LoL only earns as long as it continues to be a phenomenon. Riot doesn't want it to go back to just being another popular game. If you don't think this is true you're wrong, it is. If there are no whiteys in the top 8 teams viewership crumbles. At least now the two KR teams have storylines of which westerners they beat and you can convince yourself about some story of mutual respect and competition. Because they're regulated to a few seeds and will never be the majority in tournaments, even if they deserve to be.

The only viable solution for Riot and for competition is for KR players to migrate en masse to other regions to take up 2-3 spots on each team. We've seen this begin to happen in many cases, still giving teams Western flavor along with KR skill. Problem is a lot of Korean players don't want to permanently move. They like Korea. It's their home. And it's very insulated, that's a concept that NA and to an increasing extent EU have trouble understanding. So you won't get the top KR players all migrating until KR is a weaker region than NA/EU, because the players will need wickedly huge incentives in many (not all) cases and they simply won't see the reason when they're good enough to stay near their home and compete at the same level, with no drawbacks.

TL;DR Riot's only real option is to push muh storylines to hype up foreign teams so NA doesn't give up on a game their teams will never win.

Introduce "new" draft rules for tournament matches that are best of 3 or best of 5.

No bans; however, once a champion is picked, it is automatically banned for the rest of the set. So, if match one in a set of 5 has ABCDE vs FGHIJ, ABCDEFGHIJ are banned in match 2, 3, 4 and 5. If KLMNOPQRST are picked in match 2, ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRST are banned in matches 3, 4 and 5. So on so forth.

That would force teams to use different strategies and phase out one-trick ponies rather quickly.

I remember reading a rumor a while back that all teams participating in major tourneys like worlds were actually employed by riot. I don't really care whether that's true or not, but I am curious if their travel expenditures are paid for by riot. Lots of other game devs/publishers (neople for dungeon and fighter, a similarly popular game, mostly in SK) pay for it, but I can't find any info on if riot does.

your MMR is separate for normal and ranked so it's entirely possible you're playing gold/plat or maybe even higher normal people. I was in a similar position, playing against diamond/plat in normals, got placed in gold. I just kept playing and worked up to plat II though, which feels about right for my skill.

csing with corki and sivir is pretty easy because you can use spells to assist you

they're also not hard to play as long as you can land their skillshots, but they're wide/long ranged so that's easy too

unless you were asking for a non-adc champion, in which case play AD melees, especially zed or anyone manaless. they're easiest to CS with.

I like Irelia but almost EVERY time I play her I get zoned under tower. People don't respect the stun and yes you can outplay with it but you'll still lose an all in that's not under your tower untill you hit level 8 or 9 but it feels like every other top champion is all about pressure BEFORE 6 and it makes it so unfun. It's kind of like playing Jax, and I hate playing Jax.

Gnar and Yi are level 4, other level 4s all girls. I never really thought about it. Females and gnar are just more enjoyable for me to play. I don't even like playing Yi that much, I don't know why he's such high level. I think because so many S rankings because he's so easy.

i did play her when she was strong and had her bullshit stun and Q dealt 70 dmg at lv1 (close to 100dmg for 40 mana on 4s at level1). it was insane how hard she bullied people and her stun basically never missed

riot is looking at her though, they say they wanna buff her passive somehow and make her E better at rank 5, plus clean up the stun a bit, so i have hopes for it. i really like playing Syndra and still play her lots but she's a bit on the weak side right now.
also I've taken a bit of a liking to going tear now since her earlygame isn't that good anymore and it's OK, she struggles with mana hard and tear solves that plus the shield is great for somebody as prone to being dived and buttfucked as her

The difference is how they play in game versus how they are portrayed in lore

In the lore, it makes sense for them to be reffered to as two because it goes into detail of what Lamb and Wolf do, giving them an equal role through differing methods

In game however the focus is largely on lamb with wolf being more of a visual sidekick that occasionally does things

As for Leona, I mentioned yesterday that I'm thinking about allowing banned contestants in as guests for ideas that would only make sense if they were there. Soraka, while not winning any flashes, always came super close and needed massive amounts of negas to be contained, otherwise she would win every single time

This time, people didn't smite her hard enough and she won. The cows didn't carry Soraka, Soraka carried the cows

Zyra getting a far 6th was probably caused by the cowtits, you are right on that, but a measly 6th with every other cow suggestion not even making top 10 tells us cowtits are fading, you can't just shoehorn those anymore

Also, MF and Sona are somewhat connected. Both have arcade skins, MF Sona botlane was really popular during s2/s3, their personalities work well together (shy vs bold), I like to think they aren't just shoved together for the tits

in general i found champ.gg to be a pretty good asessment in role strenght, for example they have Jinx as first on AD and GP first on top even though neither are the highest winrate

for example here you can see how Kindred ruins Gragas who is extremely popular

For Soraka it did, cowgirl, cow and bull
For Zyra, it didn't, even though the bold/shy pairing worked, the suggestion was badly written around Zyra, who needed a bigger participation
