Anyone got any tips on how to make some friends in this game?

Nearly everything in the game can be done in the DF which puts you with people you will never see again, and every guild I've joined is just the typical "inner circle jerk guild".

It really feels impossible to make any friends in this game if you're actually somewhat laid back and don't like to spam in chat.

Like this faggot Tonio Steiners in Adder. I've had him for several matches now and this guy keeps letting me die. In the last match just now with him, he let me die when I have Battle Fever and he had some excuse like I moved up a bit even though I was next to him. At face value, the changes to melding sound like they're going to limit the use of crafted accessories while buffing raid accessories. On the other hand, it looks like it might be a decent enough buff to take the risk and explore it. WARs just need to hit a break-point with skill speed, and the rest can be supplemented with critical hit rate and determination.

Say Duality is ready, but I don't have a WAR with me so I have to Dancing Edge and still Armor Crush for Huton, is it ever correct to use Duality on one of those two instead of Aeolian?

You're definitely not going to be able to melt VIT or STR to left-side gear, as they're probably going to be capped just the way they are now. The thing about "primary stats only on guaranteed materia slots" is mainly for accessories, which are only capped on one primary stat.

You shouldnt need materia until 50 at least. If you must just meld whatever you think is lacking
