skin is zombie damage skin, pretty sure it was in GMS when I was still playing. It's ugly as shit.

the items are from the murgoth event we just got, which is, for the first time in a really long time, is a copy of the GMS event. We have the ratings system and everything.

anyway you get those item after the match ends, use them and they turn you into the various soldiers in the murgoth dungeon.

They're totally pointless and are clogging up my inventory but I kept throwing them out and getting more so now i'm just gonna hang on to em till the event ends and sell them at a hearty 80k per to try and be able to finally fucking afford a faf ESP limiter. The existing ones only cost like 100m now but I have to use 100m of my current meso stock to get maple points to get a water of life for my petit nero and then blow the remainder on autofeed and autoHP.

Unfortunately for me star planet is super populated and I don't type fast enough to rank on the KR typing defense boards like I do on GMS, and there are hundreds of thousands of people that still play because of star planet M making it so easy to rack up points meaning hitting top 100 star points or one card or yut is impossible.

Ah, I didn't pay attention to the Murgoth shit at all but I thought it looked like the guy. Haven't seen the zombie damage skin but I'm sure it's a thing on GMS. What does the fafnir kinesis weapon look like anyway? I've been meaning to look it up for a while and forgetting.

When did they close off Omega Sector, KFT and the like?

Can you still get to Ludus Lake through Aqua Road now that KFT is blocked?

Also why did they close off all these areas and theme dungeons? As far as I can recall Kerning Square and Mushroom Kingdom were both reasonably popular training spots so it can't be that.

The same reason they'll shut down class creation for a class that's about to be revamped soon.
So that they can revamp them later.
Admittedly, it might be a really long time before they all get revamped, but I guess they didn't want to bother writing entries for the Maple Guide to areas that they weren't planning on keeping like that.

KFT was re-opened with reboot, and turned into a theme dungeon. Complete the quests, enjoy the storyline, then leave.

Could any blacksmiths post the recipe for master or meiser cubes? Google has given me different answers, I think a lot of the information is out dated.

I've got a lot of superior crystals saved up, I always extract my hilla/zakum 1 meso drops. The blades are of course going to be the limiting factor, that and actually getting to craftsman. So I should be saving red, black, and purple dusts? I've only been saving black and purple.

i save gold and garnets to craft hearts cuz they are lvl 8+ to keep mesiter
and uh luk and wisdom to craft dabr and dluxe androids and lidium too
red and dark i use to craft rings to keep mesiter acc crafter i used greens to get to mesiter but thats just me

Solo'd Magnus the other day when the DA was talking about it and never posted. best drop was a nebulite Box which had a D nebulite.

Not sure ifit would be easier or harder if i switched to BM but I don't have the weapon to do so regardless

Anyone know of I can remap the Screenshot key in maple? I don't have a Scroll Lock key so I always do Alt+Enter and then Print Screen.

are u literally taking a screenshot of your whole screen and not just the maple window?
if ur on windows u can use alt+print screen and it takes a ss of ur window (the one you are selecting at the moment of key press)
u still have to go to paint and paste BUT if ur using sharex/puu.sh u can do that without using paint or anything at all just a keybing and it will upload it for u
im using sharex cause it respects me freedums but feel free to use anything u want

It doesn't work. I've deleted my main before. I've given away all my shit before. Numerous times. I've been reset to zero more times than I can count. I've cut all ties with the people I met playing Maple. Multiple times, even. It doesn't work. That's exactly what I am doing. I have more than 1 adventurer, so I'm just gonna transfer my stuff to my new main once an nx transfer comes.

The only reason it's taking so long for me to get goin on my new character is because I want the IGN, plus I have to wait for a divorce, and that takes 4 fucking days to do. After that I STILL have to wait a day to delete it.

Gold Beach is always good but there aren't as many people farming it, it's mostly good when you're actually leveling there. Temple of time can be okay because there are some good shaped maps and the 333 quests have people farming it, though it isn't too reliable since there aren't that many people doing those quests. The drill halls are of course good.

I'm playing on extalia now and while it's cool and all the first 100 levels past that I have to go and buy stuff from people in the FM and think about scrolling and enhancing and it's all so bleh I just want to press buttons and watch netflix on another monitor

diablo-esque arpgs are often good enough but they have their own problem of eventually requiring your full attention
and yeah stuff like cookie clicker I guess but that doesn't feel interactive at all

Yes you do need NX for NX items, since there's no AH there there's no meso market either (though you can use maplep oints from other worlds on reboot), but yeah. Generally speaking you do.

Mesos aren't really worthless, you need them for cubes. You don't trade at all in reboot, there is no trading at all. No drop trading or anything.

A 90s CG cartoon. The first season or two was pretty mediocre because of restrictions put on the studio by the folks in charge of what gets to air, but after their bullshit was loosened it got really fucking good and holds up surprisingly well today.

What did they make later? I just rewatched the series about a year ago and I actually enjoyed it a lot. It can be really silly but the plot is surprisingly good and there was clearly a good amount of care put into it. The censorship and restrictions in the first season or two are so obvious though.

Characters below Lv. 33 at the start of the event cannot move to a new world.
Characters cannot move to Scania due to its high population. However, you can move out of Scania!
Characters can be moved even if you do not have an empty character slot in the world you wish to move to. However you will not be able to move a character if you have the max number of characters (36) on the desired world. You will need to delete and make room for one before you move.
Some quest information may be deleted during the move.
If you have items stored in the Delivery Package Storage, you must retrieve them before being able to move.
The World Leap request cannot be canceled once it has been made. Please think carefully when making your decision to move to a new world.

Yep. I thought the 15% health would be a great hold over until I could get 2 superior necklaces, but I'll be 2mil-2mil before I get a full necklace at that rate.
Mind you the coins are at a decent rate. 30 a day is pretty good and let's you get something after only about a week. The totems aren't great but they seem to have some effect if you collect all of them. They'll be good for new players during a dry spell of no totem events at least.

Stop telling people this. You never switch. You either go cat for big groups or bear for solo, and you're always solo so you're always bear. In fact it's the least unique because you don't have job advancements so you're using the same attacks the entire time. It's not like Zero where the swapping is fluid.

You need to be 210 to hit Hellux consistently, but that requires so much time investment that you'll probably just get those ten levels while farming bosses and events for deeps. It's really not something you have to go out of your way to achieve.

Do alchemy materials sell? I was going to wait till I had a bunch of blades to switch to smithing, but i haven't gotten a cube in 4 days and a blade farming guide said smithing levels actually affect blade drop rate from nodes, which would explain why I've never had one drop.
Trying to decide if I should sell them or make a bunch of flasks before I swap.

Not that anon but I assure you BT is not unique. In fact it has a much more static playstyle than other classes I've played. The only thing unique about it is being able to farm from across the map with lil' fort and magestic trumpet. The swap thing is pretty useless because you so rarely find a party big enough to make cat worthwhile. It's for two things: swapping to get the card buff, and swapping to at the last second of a boss to get extra drop rate. BT is also balls weak.

the way it works on paper and the way it ends up in practice are slightly different. if you give a class four different playstyles but only make two actually viable, people are only going to invest in those trees.

I picked BT originally because I thought it would be unique. It was not. In pre-BB or slightly post BB it would have been, since groups were the way to go back then, but with SingleplayerStory how it is, the class gets old quick.
Even DA I think is much more unique, since your attack spam can at least reduce your health and you have a few things to upkeep. With the buffs we're getting in reboot I think an interesting way to keep the class fresh would be to not allow potion use. I don't use them 90% of the time I fight a boss anyway, and when I do it's usually out of lazyness.

Heh, the map is super old. No change in evan's story so far, probably not gonna put it on the test servers at all if there will be a change. that's usually the sort of thing they save to surprise people. they did it with kinesis.

yeah aran's a super blast to play so far. You can use skills without the combo, but if you combo you get a boost to damage (5% in second job, which is fucking huge right now).

there's also another skill that sometimes shoots out and does extra damage if you input manually. I can lift enemies in the air, proc the first extra attack, maybe even final attack with it, spin, then finish with a regular triple swing.

both evan and aran's revamped sucked hardcore in job 1 cause almost nothing changed, but second job they fucking kick the fun up 18 gears.

For mobbing, looks like smash swing's good enough. It hits 750% with two lines after all the upgrades, and has a strong fuckin aoe ripple effect.

The damage hyper just makes up for the loss in percentage from the transition of hyper skill to 4th job attack. If you want bullshit, let's talk about Final Blow.
Damage was increased from 300% to 350%, and Sudden Strike adds another 75% damage to that. When you're in maximum overdrive mode, it also shits out an extra four lines of 350%, because fuck you.
and then there's the whole thing with overdrive giving 500% damage but that's another deal

It's not fair for me to say, especially because I play differently than most people. I'm very lazy but active when I actually grind. Hence my getting enhance mode like 8 times sequentially.

evan suits my playstyle more, but aran is really fun. that said, aran will be nearly impossible to just "play". you have approximately jack fucking shit for buffs that increase damage, it ALL comes from the combo. Normally that's not a big deal but you need 1000 combo at 2 combo per attack, sometimes 4 and 5, to get the full benefit. And then the combo starts going down exponentially the more you have, at a retarded pace. Typing out this post for example, my combo went from 1300 to 300.

how many points does BB restore? FB does 5 which is nice but still, you have to put in the command for the damage boost and with this shitty new jump lock skill it's totally fucking up my jump attacks which makes it nearly impossible to get ANY commands off.

Krexel is actually a useful daily. He drops tons of maple anniversary gear including shoulderpads which are great if you can't afford a magnus shoulder. He gives okay exp too.

Every class has a flash jump or a teleport now. Xenon also has its own car for teleporting to where you want to go from the home base. Angelic buster can do that too sort of, and Mercedes. Just try out a bunch of characters and stick with what you like.

Other than that, I think the combo decay is fine for the time being. Dodging isn't so intensive that you can't just lob your first job projectile at the boss before the losses kick in, and it seems simple enough to rack up hits on grinding maps.

Moving between the MIDDLE platforms in sleepywood activated the decay. They definitely changed it from pre-revamp. And gaining combo is retarded too. He does a lot of damage which means you're killing enemies, and if there's nothing to hit, your decay starts and the combo you just got is wasted (potentially more since for the first 3 jobs your main combo gain is triple swing which is 2 combo at a time and you'll lose up to 10 per decay tick when you're at 900-1000 combo)

I'm just putting my money on them adding in a traditional combo recharge styled skill in the game, and removing that hyper, replacing it with something else and calling it a day.

It's likely they tried balancing the system with the endgame combos in mind, disregarding how that would have affected the early shit. Combo recharge would be nice, but they'd have to put some serious nerfs on Adrenaline to compensate.
But it's probably what they'll end up going with, so fuckin whatever.

Modern day maple is treated as a single player game so they might as well abandon the PC format and just put it on the 3DS and/or Vita

Not sure why they went with the mobile phone route

Also Herb Town has not been touched since people stopped doing Pirate Ship PQ and King Centipede stopped being worthwhile. I don't even remember why I used to do it. Mu Lung at least had that Dragon/Tiger thing added recently.

All the classes are definitely not equal. Narutolover is a good one to start with if you plan on doing endgame stuff, but thief gear is ridiculously expensive. You won't even come close to endgame without spending big bucks anyway.

Some classes are better off than others, so some classes like thieves are heavily flocked to (and very very expensive to gear). As far as cheapness goes, pirate and bowman tend to be very cheap to play.

Go Night Walker or Wild Hunter if you're a massive turbo deeps faggot
Evan's a decent choice if you don't have much in the way of funds, since it hits capping potential very early on
Everything else just sort of floats around in the middle. Don't play Mihile or Jett if you want to have a good time.

I also find phantom to be really boring and lame to play but the class itself is decent and has an interesting concept behind it. If you plan on sticking around with the game for a while you should start with a demon or kanna for super easy mobbing and a good link skill for your next characters.
