>>120484397Good so far, with some easily fix-able issues, like the animations poorly representing the hitboxes. I haven't seen any hype combos or matches yet, but no one is really playing it yet.
The game looks like it emphasizes aggressive options more than defensive ones, to the point where even Dhalsim (the only true zoner in the game) looks like has he can rush down when he wants to.
You can't hit confirm off lights to Medium and Hard normals, meaning any real damage is going to come from slower, less safe options. (At least without burning V Trigger.)
And some previously safe blockstring enders (especially fireball) are no longer safe. A blocked
c.MK xx Fireball is now punishable.
Normals and throws mostly have shorter range compared to SF4. Also no kara throws (if you know one, keep it to yourself, because Capcom will kill it).
Capcom is trying to eliminate Option Selects, which I'm pretty sure is impossible since many arise from the basic game design.
Walk speed is slower, but I feel like dashes are crazy fast.
No backdash i-frames.
Damage is higher.
>CammyIs still Cammy. She feels less interesting in a game full of aggression, but I think she's okay. She almost feels unchanged.
