And for the record, I do think %Armor penetration is the absolute worst. % DMG is "bad" because it's been placed in retarded kits.
True DMG has never been really a good thing in any game in which you have the option to reduce it in the first place (as it makes your defense meaningless), but it's needed to exist in LoL, let we get Season of Black Cleaver, or the 5 sustain tanks mid again.
I do not think true dmg needs to be removed from the game, I think it needs to be removed from her kit, specifically.
True DMG hasn't been that much of an issue on many, if not all the other champs that have it (yes, even Cho's fuckhuge nuke is OK with me AND Garen's gimmic as well). Hell, it isn't the main reason why people keep banning Darius even, and it's his ult.
Never said Skarner has no DMG, I just said I prefer people who deal DMG rather than CC like beasts. Skarner does both well, but I have other stuff in mind before trying to pick him up.
As for why it's overrated, it's because in the end it's JUST DAMAGE. Building HP will make you good against it. But it WILL NOT make you good against % of max HP true dmg. Which is literally my whole problem.
