If anyone here has been experimenting with the new Math Warrior, what do you think is the best amount of lategame? This is the main thing I've been unsure about. Boom and Grom are certain, but Sylvannas is good in just about any midrange deck, and I've played against some people using Rag and it seems to work pretty well (you have so many pings that you can easily reduce the number of garbage minions rag might hit).

Rag in that list seems questionable at best, and Thaurissan just seems wrong. In this meta I think you want either two Slams or two Cruels more than you want discounts that don't do anything or a sniper of 1/1s. He did hit rank 1 legend, though, so the list can't be bad.

This is just for the base i would've also tell you to remove bolvar but i see you are going for a "fun" deck. Add loatheb and justicar and 1 healbot i guess,

Also if you still have space try to make a better curve and add GOOD inspire cards like saraad or stuff like that.

Granted if I get stuck with Boom or any other > 4 drop I'm kind of fucked, but I've had good luck.

Should I run 0/1/2 healbots in freezemage?
Also how many acolytes and/or loot hoarder?
Right now I've got 2 loot, 1 acolyte, 1 healbot. It seems alright, but the acolyte usually only gets one draw, so I'm considering just running two healbot, or even adding another one mana card like arcane blast/missles or another mirror image, so that i can get more fireballs out of Tony the turn I play him.
I also considered replacing it with Azure drake.
Also, right now my only secrets are barrier and block, is duplicate worth it at all? I feel like it's dead in hand most of the time, but I think it'd work pretty decently with Bloodmage, Tony, or Emperor.

When playing hunter, if I got them below say 15 health and was confident I could ride out the match on spells and hero power, Ice barrier did nothing, while healing would have fucked my over royal cause I'd have to activate ice barrier when using physical attacks.

I'd say 2 healbots.

Your early game isn't particularly strong. It's gonna be difficult to get a good kings off on 4 which is your goal. But you have a truesilver which is always great and a consecration for catchup. Your 4 drops are literally just the kings and dragonkin and maiden of the lake which aren't amazing. But then your 5 drops are ridiculous. Blackwing corruptor should always have a dragon and your consorts should always give you a tempo lead if you've managed to keep up. Then your later drops are really good value too and a lay on hands just in case.

I'd say maybe 8 or 9 wins if you're decent. That's an above average deck for sure.

CoC is good in aggro heavy metas like the one we have now. I'm playing 1 CoC, 1 Blizzard.

I tried Duplicate, but it seems too cute. Sure, you can get insane value out of double Thaurissan, but getting fucked over by Mad Scientist when you need a barrier or block is more likely to happen than Thaurissan ultimate value.

I personally like 2 Acos/1 Hoarder as I found myself drawing less cards with 1 Aco/2 Hoarder, and died when I ran out of freezes/heals, or couldn't topdeck the damage I needed to close the game.

One Healbot is enough. 5 mana for a heal 8 is a lot, considering your freeze effects will potentially prevent more than 8 damage. Also, keep in mind that you can use Doomsayer as a pseudo heal 7.

And just in case you're thinking it, Malygos is bad. The percentage points gained for the Control Warrior match up, which is still abyssmal btw, is not worth losing the percentage points in the rest of your match ups.

If they get out dr 6 you are pretty much fucked. They have nothing worth sapping really and you need both bladeflurries. Dr 6 can almost do half your life secured if they have kings.

You are factually wrong, what was even the point of this post? Are you actually unaware most modern decks rival or surpass legacy decks in price now or do you really think your shitty pauper deck can handle the tier 1 of modern?

You can, again, make a HS deck for free, but just like your 20 dollar modern deck it won't win at all and you'll get frustrated. Same in Magic. Average deck costs in standard are like 2-300, 500-2000 in modern, 1000-5k in legacy. Those are all shitty prices.

This is what separates a virtual game from a real one. The only reason to sell you the game in small slices at inflated prices is for jew reasons.

When it isn't tier 1. Pre last rotation (so like 2 months ago) it was tier 1 material and there for VERY popular, most of its key cards were very pricey. Monastery swiftspear is a staple in like multiple formats now so even as an uncommon it's like 15 bucks for a playset.

Even a couple years ago RDW was 100+ due to mutavaults. The deck is mostly 25 cent commons but generally has a few uncommons/rares or mythics that cost 15-20. It's still usually your cheapest option.

Because, unlike HS, modo has an economy, and a commomly accepted medium of exchange in the form of tix. The supply of virtual cards is limited in the sense that expansions and other products are on sale for a limited time only.

And supply and demand isn't why the price of cards are so high. It's scarcity. You know, the founding principle of Economics? We live in a world of scarcity. An economy can't exist if there's zero scarcity for all things. It's part of the reason why HS doesn't have an economy, jewish reasons aside.

It easily climbed to 15 and even beat a Secret pally who had to think for 60 seconds on every fucking turn.

Yet, when I do this during the day, the win rate plummets. This is a continuous cycle. For some reason, I win so much easier during this time right now.

I think Justicar is more important nowadays, because of the amount of aggro decks om the meta, the 4 armor a turn is fucking great.

Forgot to mention, this is the deck I did it with.

Saraad was Harrison during the patron part of the meta. Took me a while because I barely play but I streaked most of it fairly easily I feel.

God hands fuck me as per usual.

If I can pull pyro to clear or early double naarus to burst heal you'll fair fairly well. Have to mulligan very aggressively for them. Auch circle can completely fuck flood decks which is nice.

Hardest matchups are handlock and freeze mage, not aggro.

Don't they give you the quest of the day after you make room in your full quest log? I had three 60 gold quests yesterday, but didn't do any of them because Tavern Brawl wasn't working. Today I did one of them but I didn't get a new one. Not only did they take away the original brawl, but also they basically stole one of my quests.

You generally have enough gas to get through a belcher.

2 belchers and no silence, then yeah, you're probably fucked. But that never seems to happen in my experience. From what I've seen if I play an annoy-o-tron on turns 1 and 2, they have an owl for each of them in the subsequent turns every time.

Even still, you have to remember that face hunter applies constant pressure with it's hero power if nothing else, belchers mostly just mean +7 life without silence and you lose a card or two. It still costs 5 mana, and the opponent still have to kill YOU as well, not just be able to defend against attacks for a little while. You can do a ton of damage in the first 5 turns of the game, which is why belcher is often ineffective.

I encountered some low secret secret paladins at around rank 6.

They were much easier to beat for me than regular cancer secret mode, but I think it might be a better/more consistent deck.

I've been testing out a new (odds are somebody came up with it first) Dragon Priest list and I wanna hear some thoughts on it. I've noticed my hardest matchups previously were Control Warrior, Handlock, and Secretdin. This list won me a few games against Control Warrior, but I'm not sure if I got lucky or not considering I got Justicar and Auchenai every game. Haven't faced any handlocks yet, but I assume the same problems. I think this will help with Secretdin, but only if I get lucky and pull one of my two board clears. I'm considering throwing in another lightbomb or circle of healing, but I'm not sure what I'd replace.

Also I do speak Japanese and that's why it's in moonrunes.

handlock will typically only run jaraxus and include other big threats such as boom and sometimes rag.

handlock is one of the more expensive decks in the game and actually takes some skill to play. If you want to play it, you'll have to invest some moneys or probably disenchant your entire collection just to craft it.

if you really want to play warlock, zoo is cheap, easy to play, and pretty good right now.

What if 1 and 2 drops had the stat budget of every other mana cost card in the game?

1 and 2 drops are allowed a full stat budget as well as powerful abilities.
This skews the game towards aggro cancer and will eventually turn it into YuGiOh where 1-2 turn wins are the norm now.
