PROTIP: If you want any of the boosted 60 beginning armor but don't want to waste the boost, make the character with the 60 gear you want. Then, put his/her armor in a Legacy Storage. Afterward, delete the character.

You will retain the armor, lose the character, and the character boost will be kept available.

Do NOT level the character.

Sell the weapon to get enough credits to go to your stronghold if it is on the other faction to deposit the armor in a legacy storage unit.

Operative. Much more fun, and you have stealth so you can bypass annoying group of mobs should you desire to. Unless you like to take everything in your way head on for no reason at all because the mobs have a larger aggro range thanks to level sync.

Also, dat laugh on FemAgent when playing Operative.

I think so. A while ago they decided it's too much effort to keep designing 8 different storylines for every content update.
At least until makeb they are different for rep/imp, but I hear they're not even doing that anymore from sor onward.

Grab level 8 Adaptable (Orange-named) gear, updated it every 12 levels or so. Sell all the blue shit in the GTN (Auction house equivalent if you will), change the starting UI as it's very basic, use keybinds. Do not be restricted by Light/Dark relics, just play as you like. Try it out for a week for free and then sub if you like.

Story wise it'd be best of course, but you can jump right in if you want to.
Since you're already playing, might as well finish what you started.

I hear up to level 20 you'll do fine, character story is unlocked for everybody, old expansions will be unlocked as long as you were a sub at least once, new expansion and its chapters will be unlocked for active subs.

If you're into MMO, mind this is more of a single player game using MMO mechanics.
If you're heavily into KotOR, you might be disappointed some times with the direction they took.

Not really. Only one spec is tank focused, the other 2 are perfectly viable, and even some of the most fun to play dps in the game.

Not great at end game anymore, but they are pretty middle of the road competitively.

12x class story exp boost turned into a overall 6x or so, coupled with level sync you'll never waste exp.
You'd only need to do class story plus planet story to cap, but that's the theory, if you do class story and run a couple heroics/fp/wz/gsf every once in a while you might be able to skip planet story.

Jedi aren't full on no emotion. It's that the Jedi in the SW and SI stories are written as bland monotone and morally arrogant.

You want to look at characters like Jolee Bindo and Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi as Jedis who can be funny and light-hearted but also pragmatic, stern, and obviously very intelligent in the ways of the force. I think if you play your Consular as a scholar and someone who hears people out first before making decisions, you will have a good time.

In KotFE really botched the Jedi. My alt is a consular but there are too many times where he becomes angry for no reason really. A jedi master should be more pragmatic and levelheaded than too fall for petty anger or jealousy. That's why I always pick the dialogue choices with the question marks. I pick up all the story I miss out on my main, and it just furthers my character's persona as a curious scholar and pragmatic master of the Jedi order.

Assassins are really good in pvp, okay in pve. Jugs are pretty good in pve, and good tanks, but the dps was nerfed to shit. And snipers are god tier dps in pve, and can burst people into treats, but the play style is mind numbing.

I think shadow fits jedi slightly better (diplomat who could stealthily murder everyone)

You know what doesn't make sense? When you're doing the SoR prelude and you pick the option to tell the council about arkous, lana is all like the council protect each other or some shit. When you play as the sw or nox theres no way they shouldn't believe you. The warrior specifically because hes the wrath and vowran would most likely support him.

Are Marauders/Sentinels any good? Just finished getting my Jugg to 50 and I absolutely love the gameplay, so I thought I'd give the other subclass a ago. I'm thinking of doing Sentinel (to unlock Miraluka) and then using the boost to make 60 marauder and play on that. I've heard mixed things about the class though.

They are just behind snipers in overall dps in pve. In pvp they are okay, I've seen some put out some insane amounts of total damage for the entire wz. Regs they can stomp people, ranked they have a more difficult time, but with the right setup they can shine.

And no, there are no visual perks for obtaining higher light side rating. Though once you get one character to max light side, you unlock an ability called Unity, only usable when you have a companion out, that reduces the damage the two of you take by 50% for 15 seconds. There is a similar dark side unlock that heals you in exchange for damaging your companion.

You're FORCED to shield whatsherface, so you experience first how much shielding weakens you. I used that to get implants for every role, Tanking, DPS, and Healing, as I generally never keep those up to date. Light side bounty hunter from what I've seen is pretty decent, as in his attitude is just 'I don't really care about any of this and I don't see the point in wasting time and energy killing people for no reason'
Dark Side I think falls more along the lines of 'This isn't personal. It's business. It's fun business but it's still business.'

Agent story is pretty good.
Dark Side Jedi are pretty bad.
Light and Dark Sith Warrior are both interesting and fun in their own way, I prefer Light though. It's fun to see all the people expecting you to be an evil fuck look really surprised.
Light Side Sorcerer is basically just 'Get out of my way you stupid shit are you crazy I have lightning hands go away' while Dark Side is full on Palpatine laughing while spraying lightning all over the fucking place and screaming ANNNN-LIMIDED POWEHHHHH.
Smuggler I've not played, Trooper I've not played.

How hard is it to actually solo the H2+ Star Fortresses for the One and Only legacy title?

I pulled six strongs and two elites and didn't break a sweat in a heroic mission, so. Have a 216 lightsaber with 208 gear and Senya at rank 12.

Just make a full light jedi for the legacy skill and then do whatever

It is pretty useful, though. The fleet hosts most of the vendors and facilities that your character might need, as well as access to your ship. And before group finder, it was how you got to the vast majority of flashpoints and operations as well.

A lot of the time you can agree to spare someone for a reward (light side) and then kill them after for the bounty (dark side)

There's really no reason why a greedy bounty hunter wouldn't bring people back alive when you can (light side)

I play one who follows the clients demands until they get a better offer and I'm neutral although some of this is down to imperial sidequests being aimed at edgy sith

What companions is everyone using for doing Heroic Solo on the Star Destroyers? Because I'm Lv 65 with a Lv 20 Influenced SCORP on the last little room or I think last little room of the last boss fight and I just get out DPSed really fucking fast.

Scorpio just can't do enough healing. Should I just keep leveling her influence up? I usually have Senya and she does insane healing but for whatever reason, in this fight she's focusing on killing an enemy then healing me and herself, which is really weird because she's normally not like that.

Now I've heard that even with how over-powered comps are there are some comps who are better at certain things DMG/Healing/Tanking still. Anyone know anymore on that?

Fleet Pass is literally completely irrelevant.
Buy a stronghold for 5000 credits and transfer there. Then transfer from the stronghold to the fleet. You can do this from just about anywhere, an infinite number of times, with no cooldown, it costs no Cartel Coins, and it's shared between all your characters.

Man, this last room in the Star Destroyer before you fight the last boss is insane for me. I'm a casual so I might not know everything there is.

I got Senya to Influence Lv 21 and took off her CC and she heals much better now but she still dies horribly and almost instantly. I'm not to sure on who I should be focusing on in the second to last room before the boss. There's two yellow enemies and the boss spawns another enemy that zaps and then four normal enemies come in and fuck my shit up. I try tanking it all as DPS and it works for awhile but then the fucking boss has this lazer that follows you around and Im ahead of the circle on the floor but it's still damaging me? Im assuming it's lag but it's annoying then if that doesn't fuck me up then something happens to Senya and she dies instantly.

I know I gotta git gud but I'm doing something wrong and I'm not sure what it is. It's probably the order in which I'm killing enemies but I don't know.

Shadows/Assassins I can understand but heavy armor for Sorcs/Sages is weird to me since you're not really mixing it up close. Trooper armor on Guardians just feel right though.

The ability is free, you get it at level 10. Consumable fleet passes can be purchased from the security key vendor for 1,000 credits a pop.

As for that expense and the expense of the legacy perks, well, that's how credit sinks work. They've already reduced the base cooldown to just one hour, so I don't see why it bothers you.

How does it matter? Force has no armor check penalty, their "spells" won't fizzle if they wear space plate.

Really the only reason I can think that you wouldn't wear armour just because you're a wizardy type is simply because armour is generally really uncomfortable to wear and heavy. Why wear it if you don't need to, basically.

It's space comfy armor suits, most come with servos and funky gadgets too.
Trooper/BH armor is neither heavy or uncomfortable and neither is the battle armor worn by Jedi (see Valiant Jedi or Obi Wan in Clone Wars).

Its star fortress, not destroyer. That said, are you doing Heroic mode? Don't try to solo heroic mode. It can be done, but not easily. Do solo mode solo. At the very least, group up for heroic mode a few times first before you try to solo it, so you understand the mechanics of the fights better.
