I thought Ground Zero was pretty good... until the turrets went overbroad, and until I got a crash that prevented me from continuing the game 70% through it (I could have used a cheat to warp to the level wanted and use another cheat to give myself the weapons I had, but that felt stupid and like too much cheating). From what I saw it was good, except for the turrets.
The Reckoning is amazing indeed, it has better gameplay than the original game. Better use of enemy, you know how Berserker are absolute joke in the original ? In The Reckoning they are used to their full potential, in ways that are actually threatening and have you use twitch skill. The new weapons really add another layer to the whole thing too.
The Gekks are super fun to kill, too.
