We all know how console ports on /vr/ games can sound wildly different (SNES and Genesis), but what about differences on consoles with ostensibly similar sound quality?

Mega Man 8 is an outstanding example of a game with similar-but-subtle differences between console ports. Aside from mini-boss battles with Cut Man and Wood Man, perhaps the most distinct difference between the PSX and Saturn versions of Mega Man 8 is the soundtrack. Not only does the Saturn version feature different mixing and instruments, it also has a unique Tengu Man theme.
