The Return: What games have you beaten recently? What did you think of it? What are you working through now?
My last one was The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy for NES. Pretty okay platformer, really easy save for one annoying boss battle. Also the Fly power is incredibly easy to abuse, you can skip across large sections of levels and remove all fear of falling to your death. Is Surprise at Dinosaur Peak any good? I might consider it worth it to pay the absurd cost for it just to play it and sell it again. Something tells me it doesn't often change hands though.
I'm working on Duck Tales and on 100% clear of Kirby's Dream Land 2. The latter I've had since I was a kid but never got all the rainbow disks. I'm up to world 6 now, I think I'll have the last two by this weekend and then finally see what the real boss battle is like.
As for Duck Tales, I started it the other day, and I can beat every level individually, but I always fuck up and game over somewhere on the path, usually the Amazon. I hate the Amazon. I also think that the cane is annoying to use, it feels less accurate than I'd want.
Disappointed slightly by how every boss so far is a pushover save for the Himalayas boss who can kill me if I'm not careful.
