At this point, I've sold off most of my collections, keeping a small amount of my top favorites for each system, and buying flashcarts so I can still play every game I want on original hardware.
I used to feel I NEED the original cartridges, but I don't really have that attachment anymore. As long as I can play the games on their respective hardware, I'm cool with it. Emulators are alright on occasion, but for many reasons it's not an equal alternative to playing on original hardware.
Flashcarts are expensive, but in the long run, I'm saving a lot of money and space.
