We have plenty of emulators for pc that are actually 100% accurate now like higan so there's really no reason to go with the actual console unless you don't trust yourself not to become a save scumming pleb.

I just use my PS3 controller

To make a 100% accurate emulator would require emulating at the atomic level, or maybe the quark level, kek.(Or at the very least at the electrical level which only a few really old arcade game emulators in MAME do now)
