It might sound funny, but I was legitimately scared of this game. I was on the edge of my wits when I played it. The music/sounds were spooky. I remember the controls being no good.

Pretty much what you said but i still like it the way it is, also it's cool to take control of a zombie protagonist. Another cool one is a /vr/'s favorite one: Caleb from the Blood games.

The never released Dreamcast sequel still haunts me.

Oh my god, why didn't they make it? Looks like it had insane potential, even if I'm only looking at the animation of the character models.

Also never noticed before but Caleb and Chakan are really similar in design.

Well, that's how they got replayability out of them. Rather than add content, just make the content more difficult and say spend more time getting good at playing games and you won't have to have more content.
Not to mention if they add more content and you're already bad at the game it's hard to make it more interesting if you haven't even handled the basics. Complexity demands fundamental competency.

Just beat F-Zero SNES for the first time this past week. As a kid I didn't know that if you press down on the D-pad you would jump farther and I could finally get past that giant gap in White Land 2.
