After lazily skimming wikipedia I'm not 100% sure which of these are even different games (I don't really trust the article). Spoonfeed plz? Best games, best versions?

Most likely nobody on earth has played every version of the platformer to comment on it, it's not that good of a game, supposedly the Genesis one has stuff that's censored in the SNES version

The game boy game is the best game of the franchise I've played unless you count pinball as vidya, in that case that would be the best one.

The Master System is nuclear garbage. Those hitboxes made me rage a lot when I was a kid.

SNES and Genesis Addams Family are very similar and both good. I give the slight edge to the Genesis version for having marginally superior play control. It's also available for Amiga but the console versions are superior.

Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt (SNES) is the sequel, but it's nowhere near as good and far too difficult.

The NES and GB versions of Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt are actually ports of the original SNES/Genesis Addams Family game, with Pugsley replacing Gomez.

I played through and beat that piece of shit as a kid, but I wouldn't recommend the game to anyone.

I'm checking a longplay and will write stuff down.

1. No music other then the opening theme.
2. Different staircase, probably to make it clearer to navigate on 8bit.
3. I heard on a youtube review that it had some areas cut.
4. There does not seem to be a music room with Lurch playing,
Instead there is a door that leads to the final boss that gets unlocked once you saved everybody but Morticia.

Other then that its pretty much Snes/Genesis Addams Family.
