>>2759386I'm probably wrong on most of this, but I imagine you would have to extract the audio files, edit them all to play back at the same rate as the sped up emulator and maybe edit the game's logic so that the new files have enough time to play out depending on how the game works in the first place.
Then you might have to create support for clean audio in sped up emulation, because it sounds like a garbled mess when speeding up things like loading screens from my experience. But that might just be because it just runs as fast as it can and is all over the place.
Finally you have to put all those edited files back into the source file which might create some problems with file sizes and placements and whatnot.
Or maybe create support for side-loading the files like those texture packs for Dolphin or whatever is happening in those MSU-1 patched SNES games, not sure if any PS1 emulators support this.
