I'll be brutally honest with you OP.
If I want to play sports I'd rather play those IRL instead of pushing buttons to do retarded macros against a CPU, sports game have little reason to exist outside of fueling normalfags power fantasies of their favorite teams.

Not that most other games aren't power fantasy fuel mind you, but at least I play those that allow me to do something I could never do IRL, like piloting giant robots or fighting monsters and shit.

Now go outside and play some soccer or whatever.

Also, Fighting games are a different genre, they're not a simulation of a sport, the design is completely different.

I kind alost interest in the Madden series after the 1st one on PS1. I had immense fun with John Madden Football on the Amiga (had like hald the total number of teams in the NFL).

Then later my older brother and I migrated to the Mega Drive for Madden '92 and '93.

Why have we never gotten a Mutant League Football sequel?
